Turbo ERA
The carb has been rebuilt, the engine is back on the sub frame, engine steadies are in place, and the Turbo is back where it belongs. Progress continues to happen. Here is a quick shot as it stood late last night! I need to buy a few things before the progress continues.

So… I haven’t made too much progress on the build as I am back in Madagascar for a few weeks, but hope to start taking the engine apart end of next week. I have found a couple of resources that have tones of info in building a Turbo Mini. Check out…

One more big push and the Engine and sub-frame have now been removed from the car. We started a little after 9:00 last night and finished around 1:00 this morning. I am still a little weak on the pictures, but here is a shot of the engine removed…
I couldn’t done this alone. Definitely need the help of SMOA especially Alex and Donald! Thanks guys! It was a pretty cool process. Made sure everything was out of the way, put the sub-frame on jack stands, than two of us lifted the body off while the other made sure that everything cleared. Other then the car being heavier than I expected it went smoothly.
